Although the end-product of the project was a keynote presentation to secure funding—on paper, not the most exciting graphic problem—I still managed to experiment and find a brand I both really liked and trusted to be appropriate for its intended use.

The keynote had to be visual pleasing and modern, but above all, the ideas expressed in it had to be clear. This was a challenge, since the ideas were extremely complex. I had to create something without truly understanding the content I was using. It meant putting a lot of care into the layout of the keynote and frequent meetings with the scientist himself.
